The latest film from Aaron Katz (Land Ho!) concerns a heinous crime that tests the complex relationship between a tenacious personal assistant (Kirke) and her Hollywood starlet boss (Kravitz). As the assistant unravels the mystery, she must confront her own understanding of friendship, truth, and celebrity.
The Logan Lucky star will play Scott Lawson, a rookie FBI agent assigned to a sleepy Texas border town where he writes reports about the drug war… until he’s presented with an opportunity to infiltrate the cartels themselves.
In the vein of R-rated comedies such as Superbad and Sausage Party, the film follows four 12-year-olds caught between childhood innocence and lewd teenage corruption, who embark on an epic quest from Tarzana to the Sherman Oaks Galleria.
The two-time Oscar winner would play a witch in the film, which Supernatural creator Eric Kripke is adapting from the 1973 gothic horror novel by John Bellairs.
