The Emmy-winning show has showcased many talented directors and actors over its first four seasons, but there’s no word if Season 5 will premiere this year or next.

“I quite liked the fourth season overall, which seems to be more consistent than past seasons, with fewer ups-and-downs. The highs may not be as high as past seasons, but neither are the lows. These six episodes also feature enough thematic variety that they offer something for everyone,” writes Jeff Sneider.

Rosemarie Dewitt, Andrea Riseborough and Jesse Plemons are three of the actors that appear in episodes directed by Jodie Foster, John Hillcoat, David Slade and Tim Van Patten.

Slade is the gifted stylist who directed Hard Candy and 30 Days of Night before landing a job directing the blockbuster The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Since then, he has focused his attention on television, directing episodes of Breaking Bad, Powers, Hannibal and the new Starz series American Gods.

Birdman actress Andrea Riseborough is being eyed to star in the fourth season episode, which is rumored to be titled “Crocodile.”

Brad Garrett has been tapped for a guest starring role in the two-part season finale of Law & Order: SVU this season, while Bella Heathcote has joined Amazon’s hit series The Man In The High Castle.
