Season 4, Episode 3 – Donna and Gordon’s daughter Hailey comes up with the next big thing with an internet indexing website on Halt and Catch Fire, but it’ll pit personal relationships against financial and business concerns, as Donna’s Rover team races to beat Joe and Hailey to the punch.
Season 4, Episodes 1-2 – Halt and Catch Fire picks up three years after the contentious group meeting that resulted in Gordon, Cameron, and Joe splintering off on their own and coming together to develop one of the first web browsers. The push and pull between Joe and the Mutiny crew over Ryan continues in this week’s episode of Halt and Catch Fire, and Donna and Gordon have trouble when the boundaries between work and home blur together.
The first episode of Tonight’s two-hour premiere of Halt and Catch Fire spent most of its time building the world the characters find themselves inhabiting in California. The second episode is where things begin to take off.
The thing about Halt and Catch Fire so far is that every season has been really great. Creators Christopher Cantwell and Christopher Rogers have hit the reset button each season to pivot the show in a slightly different direction, and every time it works amazingly well.
