STXfilms will release the Oscar-winning screenwriter’s first foray behind the camera as director on November 22. Adapted from Molly Bloom’s own memoir, the movie follows the story of the Olympic class skier who started up a high-stakes poker game that ran for a decade before her arrest.
The Mark Gordon Company’s Molly’s Game is in talks with Kevin Costner for a role in the film. He would join previously cast Jessica Chastain, Idris Elba, and Michael Cera in the film written and directed by Aaron Sorkin.
