critics-choice-excerptThe nominees for the 22nd Annual Critics’ Choice Awards were announced today, and with no surprise, HBO took the top spot raking in 22 nominations while ABC and Netflix tied for second with 14 nods. With critically acclaimed shows like The Americans, the new Donald Glover comedy Atlanta, and the uber-successful The People Vs. OJ Simpson FX ranked fourth.

Logline: Based on real-life events from 2006, when the quiet rural town of Ipswich was shattered by the discovery of the bodies of five women, leaving a community to deal with being at the center of tragedy.

Logline: In a future where single people must find a mate in 45 days or risk being turned into an animal, a man and woman start a forbidden romance in the woods outside of their city.

Logline: The story of the love affair between FDR and his distant cousin Margaret Stuckley, centered around the weekend in 1939 when the King and Queen of the United Kingdom visited upstate New York.

Logline: Story centers on a self-destructive man whose life is spiralling into despair before he meets a Christian charity shop worker.
