Winston Duke will recur on THE MESSENGERS, that follows the aftermath that occurs when a mysterious object crashes on Earth, causing a group of seemingly unconnected people to die. Duke will play a journalist who seeks justice after an agricultural experiment goes awry in a West African village. He is repped by SDB Partners and Frontline Management.

Cuba Gooding Jr. and Sarah Paulson will star in the first season of AMERICAN CRIME STORY, “The People V. O.J. Simpson.” Each season of the show will focus on a different famous crime. Gooding Jr. will play Simpson, while Paulson will play prosecutor Marcia Clark. Gooding Jr. is repped by ICM Partners; Paulson is repped by UTA and Kipperman Management.
Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons have been cast in the second season of FARGO. The new season will return to Minnesota in a different time period (this time 1979) for a different true crime. Emily Rios, Ronnie Gene Blevins, Afemo Omilami, Chris Kerson, Ashley Hinshaw, and Rick Springfield will appear in multiple episodes of the second season of TRUE DETECTIVE, which focuses on three detectives and one criminal boss who get caught up in a murderous conspiracy. Rios will play a traumatized woman, while Blevins and Kerson will play committed members of the criminal organization. Omilami will play the police chief. Hinshaw plays a troubled actress. Based on the Terry Brooks fantasy books, the series centers on the Shannara family, who centuries post-apocalypse, are empowered with an ancient magic. Butler will play the male lead, the half-elf, half-human last descendant of the Shannaras. Jakubenko will play an elfin prince, a party boy who’s looking for his place in the world. Peri Gilpin has been cast in the freshman comedy MR. ROBINSON, replacing Jean Smart. The series centers on a failed musician who gets a job as a music teacher at a high school, and puts the school’s rules to the test. Gilpin will play the school’s principal. Camille de Pazzis will be a series regular on the third season of HEMLOCK GROVE. De Pazzis will play an old woman in a deceptively young body who has close ties to the Godfrey family. She is repped by Gersh and Mosaic.

Maggie Siff will play the female lead in the drama pilot BILLIONS. The series charts a showdown between a high finance hedge fund king and a U.S. Attorney. Siff will play the attorney’s wife, a drama coach who works with powerful figures in the world of high finance. Siff is repped by Paradigm and Suskin Management.
Carrie Preston, Molly Price, and Andre Royo have joined the comedy pilot HAPPYISH. The series centers on a middle-aged man who is thrown into disarray by the arrival of a 25-year-old wunderkind boss at his job. Preston will play a senior account director at the company who must reinvent herself to survive the corporate shake up. Price and Royo will play a husband and wife who are each struggling to find their place in life. Summer Bishil will be a main character on the pilot of THE MAGICIANS, based on the novel by Lev Grossman. Annie Potts will guest star on the season three finale of MAJOR CRIMES. She’ll play an astrologer who tries to help the major crimes unit solve a series of murders. Potts is repped by Innovative Artists.
Wynn Everett and Zara Zoe are set to lead the pilot LUMEN. The series follows a family who get trapped in a fantasy world following the disappearance of the author who created it. Mark Moses, Brian F. O’Byrne, and Nick Court have landed recurring roles on the second season of THE LAST SHIP. The series follows the crew of a Navy destroyer who are among the only survivors of a global epidemic. Moses will play a U.S. government official who is trying to protect his remaining citizens from the disease, while O’Byrne and Court will play British brothers whose wander across the path of the destroyer. Christopher McDonald has joined the cast of the pilot of the UNTITLED MIAMI COCAINE PROJECT, set in the world of the 70s Miami drug trade. McDonald will play the owner of a fishing supply company, who is part of the rich, elite section of Miami society. He is repped by Gersh and Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
