After placing as a winner in the 2015 Launch Pad Pilots Competition with his script Real Gone, and being selected as part of the mentorship prize with Talia Gonzalez, alum Jared Laberdesque has signed with Joe Riley of Zero Gravity Management.

After her manuscript The Nine Graves of Geraldine Grey landed in the Top 75 of the Launch Pad Manuscript Competition last year, Namina Forna has signed with Alice Sutherland-Hawes of Madeline Milburn Literary Agency.

Launch Pad alum Rohit Kumar, whose script Greyshore earned the Top Drama prize in the 2015 Launch Pad Pilot Competition, has joined the writing team for Season 2 of the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why. He has also newly signed with Verve.

Evan McNamara, a two-time Launch Pad alum, has signed with Stephan Dubreuil of Woolf+Lapin. Last year, he placed in the Top 25 of both the Launch Pad Feature and Manuscript Competitions with his projects Red Winter and Bridge of the Americas.

Ozdil’s script Tech & Stryker generated considerable buzz from the 2016 Launch Pad Feature Competition where it placed in the Top 75. The script received high marks for its fun and smart premise and was praised by judges for its innovate action set pieces, and the hilarious dynamic between the story’s two polar opposite leads.

Launch Pad alum Jai Brandon has signed with manager Will Rowbotham of 3 Arts Entertainment. Brandon’s Launch Pad Feature Competition script Whispers from the Watchtower won him a spot in the 2016 LPFC Top 10.

Writer Mary Cardenas has signed with Elevate Entertainment manager and partner Jenny Wood. Cardenas’s pilot Bus League Knocks earned a Top 25 spot in the 2016 Launch Pad Pilots Competition.

Launch Pad Alum Alexis Perkins has signed with Stagecoach Entertainment managers Evan Lewis and Steve Smith. Perkins’s script, Derby City, was a standout from the 2016 Launch Pad Feature Competition and finished in the Top 3.

Writer Jimmy Mosqueda has signed with Jeff Portnoy of Bellevue Entertainment. Mosqueda’s pilot, Valedictorian, placed in the Top 75 of the 2016 Launch Pad Pilots Competition.

Launch Pad alum Irina Ivanova has signed with Brooklyn Weaver at his own Energy Entertainment. Ivanova joins the ranks of over 200 writers who have secured representation from the competition since 2013.

Just one day after announcing our 2016 Launch Pad Feature Competition winners, Steve Isles joins the more than 200 writers who have landed reps from the competition as he signs with Mike Esola at UTA.
