Season 2, Episode 16 – You might have to check your pulse if you watch this week’s episode of “Greenleaf” because it was beyond intense, with everyone’s storyline at a devilish height.
GREENLEAF
Season 2, Episode 15 – “Greenleaf” almost makes you believe that Pastor Greenleaf was an f-boy, but then you’ll be reminded of Lady Mae cheating. Oh, right. She is the f-boy.
Season 2, Episode 14 – Greenleaf continues to surprise me. Lady Mae acted all high and mighty a few episodes ago, but turns out she was a philanderer. Gigi gets intimate with Darius, and the conversation between Lionel and his son reach a point of no return. Our characters are at extreme highs and lows.
Season 2, Episode 13 – “Silence and Loneliness” are themes of Wednesday’s episode. Gigi deals with the consequences of staying silent about her own sexual violation by Uncle Mac. And loneliness creeps into First Lady Skanks’ life as her husband’s transgressions surface. Greenleaf presents several challenges for some of our favorites. Let’s see how they handle them.
Season 2, Episode 12 – This “House Rules” episode of Greenleaf gives us more Rochelle and Pastor Greenleaf getting flirty with it. Charity goes on a date with a singer/songwriter (who can guess how that will end; and Gigi messes it up with the Rick Fox character (come on, girl!). Seems like the Greenleafs preach about rules, but they’re not so good at following them.
Season 2, Episode 11 – Greenleaf brings the drama because it’s a show about high-falutin’ southern Christians. They’re bound to mess up because they’re riding on such high horses. Pastor Greenleaf is about to fall because of a beautiful temptress. Lady Mae is about to fall because she wants to beat the temptress down. And so on and so forth. And oh yeah, there’s a Pastor named Skanks.
Season 2, Episode 10 – Greenleaf has become a guilty pleasure. With all of the elements that make a drama oh-so-dramatic, I feel relieved when it’s over. I’m able to snap out of the “Greenleaf” spell to realize that their life isn’t my life. Whew! (But it does make me yearn for more).
Season 2, Episode 9 – Greenleaf returned for its mid-season premiere on Tuesday night. Gigi, indeed, killed Mac. Kevin finally admits (to himself) that he is gay. And Lady Mae grieves her brother’s death because of a stunning reveal. All of the Greenleaf members are where we left them – in some shit.
Oprah Winfrey’s OWN has renewed its megachurch drama Greenleaf for a third season, the company announced Monday.
