Jon Kanak of Kanak Management has signed Launch Pad Quarter-Finalist Lauren Stenmoe! Stenmoe made the Launch Pad Pilot Competition’s Top 50 for her drama script The Fireflies, which tells the origin story of a rock band.
Two of Jon Kanak’s rising stars are being brought together for what looks to be a harmonious horror collaboration. Kanak is producing the horror/thriller with Noel Clarke, with the ABC’s of Death 2 segment director Juan Martinez Moreno directing from Richard Hobley’s script.
Sources close to The Tracking Board tell us that Hobley signed with Chris Smith and Adrian Garcia in an extremely competitive situation between three agencies. Hobley, an alum of the Young & Hungry List, just sold his spec Titan last month.
