This Friday, we’re releasing the 2015 Hit List, our compilation of the best year’s best spec scripts as voted on by industry professionals. In preparation for its release, we’re taking a look back at the 2012 Hit List writers–where they’ve been, and where they are today.

Logline: Centers on a brilliant hacker bent on revenge and inflicting his own brand of vigilante justice after a violent family tragedy. Using his skills, he hacks into Chicago’s Central Operating System which controls the city’s infrastructure, including security cameras, traffic lights, and public transportation.

Logline: A group of robots hide out on a space station after a failed rebellion on earth. They train a handful of humans from birth to be their agents in a plan to destroy a defense grid erected by the humans. One of the agents however finds it difficult to follow through.

Logline: When a group of robots hide out on a space station after a failed rebellion, the machines use human lab rats to be their agents, but one man finds out he is different than the rest.

Logline: A psychotherapist recruits Multiple Personality Disorder patients in order to create a unit of counter-intelligence agents called the Triplets. But what happens when one of them becomes an out of control assassin? That’s when the deadliest Triplet of them all, Cowboy Ninja Viking, is called in to take down his own brethren.
