critics-choice-excerptThe nominees for the 22nd Annual Critics’ Choice Awards were announced today, and with no surprise, HBO took the top spot raking in 22 nominations while ABC and Netflix tied for second with 14 nods. With critically acclaimed shows like The Americans, the new Donald Glover comedy Atlanta, and the uber-successful The People Vs. OJ Simpson FX ranked fourth.

Logline: During WWI, a group of women in the English countryside are left alone with German POW’s after the men get called up to the battlefront.

Logline: Story follows two couples who experiment with cheating, all while trying to crash an upscale party in order to convince and sign an important potential client and successful author.

Logline: In the midst of WWI, British military seeks out a former soldier, who’d become blinded by the war, to take on the task of detecting German Zepplins at night, with his new heightened sense of sound.

Logline: During World War II in Northern California, a boy who is picked on for his small size learns to have faith and become a bigger and better person.

Logline: After receiving the blow of learning their young son has been murdered in Spain, an English couple receives another one when the prime murder suspect dies suspiciously and the boy’s father is blamed.
