Season 2, Episode 6 – In a necessary episode that sets us up for the remainder of season two, Baskets quietly deals with Chip and Martha’s friendship and Christine’s ability to put herself first. Maybe we need a little more, but it’s nevertheless a pleasant episode.
Season 1, Episode 4 – Another misstep this week for Powerless as the cast, though talented on their own, fail to display chemistry and the writers keep the jokes that hit few and far between.
Season 1, Episode 4 – Training Day is basically The Bill Paxton Show, but this episode has him at the top of his game, carrying the show and providing a solid hour of popcorny TV, complete with some witty one-liners.
Season 2, Episode 16 – A great episode of Superstore shows just how hilarious this show can be when all members of its amazing supporting cast are involved. Secrets are revealed after Amy sees Jeff kissing Mateo.
Season 4, Episode 15 – The Goldbergs adds another installment to the Erica/Geoff love story in “So Swayze It’s Crazy.” With three strong storylines, the jokes are good, but finding the answer to the whether or not Erica and Geoff get together is better.

Season 1, Episode 9 – Star delivers an episode better than most, but still falls into the same trappings. Instead of having an episode that deals with the fallout between Star and new group member Eva, we instead focus on police, homicide detectives and CPS storming the salon and holding Carlotta and Simone for the murder of Otis.
Season 1, Episode 16 – It’s Oscar night at the DiMeo house, which is bad news for Speechless. Too many plots, too many poorly drawn characters and a lack of clever storytelling makes for a cringe-worthy episode of an otherwise good show.
Season 2, Episode 6 – A slow-moving episode of The Path is bogged down by too much focus on Eddie’s romantic relationship with Chloe and Hawk’s irritating journey towards self-righteous activism.
