Although the Saturday night show didn’t really take off, they’ll film a second 13-episode season in Hungary with Luke Roberts returning as hostage negotiator Eric Beaumont.
Two projects are in development between CBS and Will Ferrell and Adam McKay’s production company. One based on Ben Schwartz and Laura Moses’s upcoming book Things You Should Know About Dating, You F*ing Idiot was just picked up by CBS, while the other comedy is being developed for Isla Fisher.
Bryan Fuller has been set as the showrunner for CBS’s reboot of Star Trek on their online platform CBS All Access. This will be a homecoming for Fuller who began his career as a staff writer on the cult series.
CBS is launching a new Star Trek TV series in 2017. Star Trek writer and producer Alex Kurtzman will executive produce. It will be the first original series developed specifically for U.S. audiences fro CBS All Access.
