Season 2, Episode 6 – The Expanse delivers a somewhat messy but ultimately satisfying episode with “Paradigm Shift,” featuring technology, social strife, and interplanetary warmongering. The episode generates plenty of conflict within the character groups allowing everyone to demonstrate where they stand on moral issues and international politics.

Season 2, Episode 6 – Quentin attempts to manifest Alice from the dead with the help of her parents on The Magicians, which is not much help at all. Eliot and Margo find themselves in a predicament after a Lorian prince proposes marriage to her and she treats him poorly.
Season 1, Episode 10 – This week’s episode of Star is all about the misdirection. Since the pilot I’ve been begging for an episode about the music, and when I finally thought we were getting it – I was thrown off by the craziest last act to date. There are a lot of changes in this week’s episode, but it’s hard to say if any of it is meaningful or if we’re just on a road to nowhere.
Season 2, Episode 7 – This week’s episode is a bit heavy-handed, as the show struggles to introduce more dramatic subplots. Kodiak and Richard team up to track down Eddie and get answers about Steve’s final moments, while Sarah and Cal look for solutions to save the compound from foreclosure.
Season 1, Episode 4 – Imposters introduces Uma Thurman as the menacing hit man Lenny Cohen, in a role that seems (and probably was) tailor made for the movie star. But the rest of the cast gamely hold their own against Thurman, in an episode that raises the stakes and dives deeper into the origin of the cryptic Maddie.
Season 3, Episode 14 – On the second part of the two-part “Attack” storyline, Barry must find a way of defeating Grodd once and for all without losing himself in the process. With Jesse staying on Earth-1, Harry reveals something to Wally. And Cisco must convice Gyspy to play a vital role in Grodd’s downfall a while wooing her.

Season 1, Episode 1 – Don’t be Taken by surprise: the Taken prequel series is not even a fraction as enjoyable as its film series of origin, offering nothing wholly original or compelling.
Season 1, Episode 1 – When We Rise is a dramatic series on ABC that chronicles the LGBTQ movement in the early 70s. It is inspired by Cleve Jones’ real-life activist history. While a solid episode, I wish it wasn’t 2 hours. Hollywood, this can’t be a thing.
Season 5, Episode 10 – The Mindy Project showcases every member of its great supporting cast, even Dr. Z, in a hilarious episode that sees Mindy kidnap Jody to spy on Ben and Patricia, while Anna deals with the information that her husband is cheating on her.
Season 5, Episode 2 – I feel a little jipped. I thought Rihanna was supposed to make a guest appearance on Monday’s episode of Bates Motel. Clearly, I was mistaken. There is plenty to still talk about – namely that Norman is reading a book called “The Art of Mummification”.
Season 2, Episode 3 – Humans gives us several more philosophical questions to ponder: Can you fall in love with a synthetic? And if you can, should you? Are emotions the defining factor of consciousness? Should a synthetic have the same legal rights as a human? Although no answers to these questions are clear, here are some theories.
Season 2, Episode 14 – In this week’s Supergirl, Jeremiah Danvers is rescued from the clutches of Cadmus. Kara and Alex are happy to have him back, but Mon-El and Winn are skeptical about his sudden return.
Season 1, Episode 5 – This week’s episode has good intentions, as the show addresses racism and xenophobia once Fawz’s dry-cleaners is vandalized with an anti-Arab message, but is hindered by lazy jokes and inconsistent characterization.
Season 1, Episode 5 – And we hit the first filler episode on 24: Legacy as the fifth hour brings Eric and Ben face to face with mythical arms dealer and human trafficker Gabriel. Meanwhile, Nicole must calm a paranoid Issac down, the Dudayev siblings deal with their father and Jadalla faces a big decision made without him. All while Rebecca and John begin an interrogation on Henry for the leak.
Season 1, Episode 4 – Gideon Reeves creates a $2 million dollar jacket in this week’s APB that allows police to wear a wire undetected by bad guys. An interesting premise, but doesn’t quite deliver on its promise of cleverness and excitement.
Season 3, Episode 13 – Hear ye, hear ye. Jane finally admits to herself that she loved Rafael on Jane the Virgin. If only she would go further by admitting she still does.
Season 1, Episode 10 – The season finale of Beyond brings us some interesting turns, one or two truly bad ass moments, and sets things up for a BIG second season.

Season 1, Episode 2 – Still reeling over his wife’s infidelity, Pete joins Artie for a road trip to Albany where he has the double job of MCing and making sure Artie stays away from all the free drugs and alcohol available to him. Things get complicated when a particular fan insists on partying with Artie, and Pete has to take extreme measures to get her away.
Season 2, Episode 3 – Baptiste comes closer to finding out the truth about whether the girl who came back was really Alice or if it was Sophie Giroux on The Missing. Gemma finds proof Alice and Sophie spent time outside of captivity, and Baptiste finds Daniel Reed in Iraq. The girl who returned from captivity takes drastic measures to cover up her true identity.
The 89th annual Academy Awards will not be remembered for Jimmy Kimmel’s hosting duties, a extravagant music number, a political rant, or the treats that parachuted from the sky, but for the twist ending when La La Land was named Best Picture when the winner was really Moonlight. Other than that, the evening sailed along smoothly with award show-brand jokes, bits, and boiler-plate acceptance speeches.
Season 2, Episode 2 – Chuck could be in a world of trouble as Dake pushes his investigation on Billions and reveals his willingness to take Chuck down at any cost. Wendy and Axe are both questioned, and Chuck is able to pull a 180-degree turn to save his job momentarily.
Season 1, Episode 2 – There’s no clarity waiting for viewers as far as Big Little Lies‘ central murder mystery goes this week. But there is a pretty terrific episode focused on the petty, competitive parenting of Monterey’s posh mom set, and a deep, occasionally disturbing look at the marriages of queen bees Madeline and Celeste.
Season 1, Episode 17 – MacGyver takes its plot to a whole new level in “Ruler.” With compelling action and the highest stakes the show has had thus far, the episode demonstrates the full potential of the show.
