Season 1, Episode 12 – In this week’s Pure Genius, Dr. C is tasked with performing vocal cord surgery on a famous pop singer who happens to be one of Bell’s friends. Meanwhile, Dr. Wallace and Dr. Brockett struggle to keep a baby alive whose mother was addicted to heroin, and Angie’s mom is keeping a terrible secret from her.
Season 1, Episode 12 – Riggs and Murtaugh both deal with life threatening situations when Lethal Weapon explores the bond of brothers. Riggs faces Trish in an arraignment when he arrests one of her most successful clients. RJ pushes to buy his first car while Murtaugh starts having intense chest pains, but tries to keep them secret from Trish and his coworkers.
Season 3, Episode 11 – It’s Chinese New Year on a bonus episode of Fresh Off the Boat as the aptly titled “Clean Slate” sees the Huangs in unlikely pairings as they prep for the holiday with unexpected results.
Season 1, Episode 8 – Incorporated erases Aaron and makes the Ben Larson alias prevelant as we watch Aaron/Ben go into the Everclear mindreading machine at Spiga. As this backfires, Laura coninutes her work in the Red Zone while Theo losses more himself to Terrence and decadence.
Season 1, Episode 12 – As things wind to a close Frequency pulls out all the twists and turns, but still fails to be an exciting show.
Season 1, Episode 13 – Nearly everyone comes down with a bad cold in Speechless, which slows everything down for the DiMeo family. But everyone tries to do their part, from Jimmy taking over Maya’s mom duties, to Dylan reading J.J.’s board for an ailing Kenneth. Some of it works, some of it doesn’t, but the result is a terrific episode.
Season 1, Episode 1 – History’s Six premiered with some explosive action but less than captivating characters, though given more time with them the series may prove a worthy watch for fans of the genre.
Season 3, Episode 13 – After much prompting from Bow and several outbursts, Dre decides to try therapy to work through his anger issues. Meanwhile, Johan takes on Zoey and Junior as clients in his life-coaching business.
Season 1, Episode 4 – Star thinks it’s Enough in this week’s episode, but it honestly hasn’t earned that level. Otis, Simone’s foster father has come back unexpectedly early, and he’s ready to cause problems. No one’s sure how he gets there or how’s he’s so good at tracking foster kid’s down, but here he is. Star, Simone, Miss Carlotta, Cotton and Jahil, all agree that Otis must die. Hopefully he doesn’t come back a third time.
Season 1, Episode 13 – No Tomorrow ends an eventful season with “No Sleep ‘Til Reykjavik.” With a strong end that answers the season’s biggest questions while leaving plenty of doors open for a potential continuation of the story, this finale episode embraces the heart of what the show has been about from the very beginning – seizing the day for yourself.
Season 1, Episode 12 – Katie (Katy Mixon) is in Heaven on Tuesday’s episode of American Housewife. She gets to prove that, yet again, she is right about something. This time, it’s to Oliver(Daniel DiMaggio).
Season 1, Episodes 4-7 – Marius, a street smart con-man finds out he’s wanted by Vince, a gangster he still owes money to three years after a botched con. Taking his cell mate’s identity of Pete Bernhardt, he goes to Pete’s home in Bridgeport Connecticut to hide while he plots to find the money to pay back Vince.
Season 1, Episode 10 –Shooter Shooter nails the season finale with a massive shootout in the woods after Bob Lee rescues his daughter from the Russian Embassy where Krukov held her for leverage. Agent Memphis arrives in time for the assist and we meet an important, hidden player in the conspiracy, Agent Johnson’s new boss, and discover his secret alliance.
Season 3, Episode 10 – “The Best of Orlando” finds Louis winning an award and leaving Jessica out of his thanks while Eddie, Emery and Grandma embark on a lucrative business opportunity.
Season 1, Episode 2 – James Delaney finds that great forces have risen up against him as he tries to take over his father’s estate in this episode of Taboo. Not only is the East India Company banking on James death, but also a new heir to his father’s estate comes out of the shadows threatening to undo all of his plans.
Season 1, Episodes 5-8 – In the second half of A Series of Unfortunate Events, the Baudelaire orphans face a hurricane, carnivorous leeches, hard labor, and an evil hypnotizing optometrist in their search for the truth behind the deaths of their parents. Meanwhile, Count Olaf is never far behind, using ever more ridiculous disguises to try to claim the Baudelaire family fortune.
Season 1, Episode 12 – This Is Us stays permanently in 1980 this week, which could be an interesting choice, but falls flat. When the format changed to include none of Jack and Rebecca’s kids, and a whole lot of winking at the audience, the show fell victim to the most self-indulgent side of the show.
Season 4, Episode 10 – Agents of SHIELD strikes the perfect balance between action, political intrigue, and characterization in “The Patriot.” Pulling details from the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, this week’s episode mixes robot clones, Inhumans, science-y superpowers, and forgotten plot points from seasons past for a superb blend of plot, adventure, and character development.
Season 1, Episode 5 – The Mick almost delivers an anti-smoking message in the midst of family bonding and learning lessons about fire safety.
Season 1, Episode 11 – Bull assists two parents in a civil case against the hot young teacher who has seduced their son, her student, hoping to make the boy see reason and reunite him with his family.
Season 2, Episode 11 – Lucifer wants to take his relationship with Chloe to the next level but is shaken when eight weeks worth of his sexual partners are called in for questioning due to a pair of recent murders. Chloe turns to Maze after a stalker leads her and Lucifer in the right direction while Charlotte and Amenadiel support Lucifer’s pursuit of Chloe.
Season 1, Episode 4 – Though not without a groan or two, Beyond, now four episodes in, provides some concrete answers to the mystery surrounding its characters. But of course it also provides more questions.
Season 3, Episode 12 – Gotham enjoys a good economy and relatively low crime numbers under Penguin’s administration, but Nygma turns against him and builds a clever team to destroy his old friend. Selina reconciles with her manipulative mother with some guidance from Bruce. Gordon dodges the revenge of Lee and Carmine Falcone while one of Gotham’s most inspirational villains returns from the dead.
Season 1, Episode 11 – Flynn has captured Lucy, and forces her to help him attempt to assassinate some of the biggest names in history at the 1893 Chicago World’s Columbian Exposition on Timeless. Rufus and Wyatt are hot on her trail but fall into a trap laid for them by Flynn. With their lives on the line they need Lucy and someone spectacular to save them before it’s too late.
Season 1, Episode 2 – The Young Pope turns conventions entirely on their heads, shocking his fellow Catholics who begin to fear what Lenny has in store after his first public address. Veillo and Sister Mary begin to see things similarly, and Lenny’s old mentor rejects him outright. Lenny’s a man alone before God, but if he cannot connect with his fellow Catholics will he be long for the office?

Season 4, Episode 3 – In the possibly last episode of Sherlock ever, Eurus Holmes leads Sherlock down the rabbit hole in a game of wits that reveals the secrets of his past that have defined who he is. What is the Final Problem? And can it be solved before time runs out for Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson?
Season 1, Episode 12 – On this week’s Conviction, the CIU team must investigate the case of a terrorism suspect who’s been held for six years without trial. But the real drama on this week’s episode comes from the fact that we finally meet Hayes’ father, former President Morrison.
Season 3, Episode 8 – The Affair gets more real as the season comes to a close. It forces not only the characters to face their realities when in love, but it forces me to do the same.
