Season 1, Episode 6 – The accidental death of an African-American boy, shot by a cop, sparks a racial firestorm and leads Hayes and her team to re-examine a controversial case. The best part of this episode is honestly that Hayes herself is in so little of it – and several secondary characters, particularly Merrin Dungey’s Maxine are given a chance to shine.

Season 1, Episode 10 – Mary + Jane‘s season finale hasn’t improved anything on the comedic front and continues to make less sense since California’s legalization of marijuana last week.
Season 4, Episode 10 – Despite a strong start to the season, the Season 4 finale of Masters of Sex left a lot to be desired. It’s still not clear if the show will be renewed for a fifth season but at this point, it might be best if show bows out now, before it gets even worse.
Season 1, Episode 8-10 – The Queen and Phillip go on an exhausting world tour that strains their relationship. Margret and Peter have another obstacle to face in order to be married. Churchill comes to terms with his age. And the Queen tries to balance her identities.
Season 1, Episode 5 – Berlin Station fights back in “Unter Druck.” With a strange choice of story conventions and character motivations, the show continues to struggle to convey its intentions to its audience.
Season 2, Episodes 1-10 – Amazon Prime’s 1980s dramedy Red Oaks returns with its sophomore season. During David’s second summer at Red Oaks Country Club in suburban New Jersey, he continues to date Skye and deal with her wealthy father Doug. This season also explores other relationships, including David’s now divorced parents.
Season 7, Episode 4 – The Walking Dead takes us back to Alexandria where most of the people don’t know about Negan until he arrives a week early. Carl stands up to Negan, which is unacceptable. Negan leaves all the food but takes all weapons and mattresses. Nobody dies this week, but Maggie does have a fresh grave.
Season 1, Episode 9 – Van Helsing escapes the bunker, and the show’s sense of humor, while losing two important team members, Mohamad meets a lovely new friend, and Sheema continues to betray the resistance. Axel and Doc both reveal secrets and others find comfort in their thunder buddies. In the end, everyone heads to the sound of the church bells.
Season 2, Episode 7 – This week on Quantico, things heat up at The Farm with a lesson about interrogation techniques and the beginnings of chemistry between Alex and Owen. In the present day, Alex is caught by the terrorists and interrogated herself. This episode was a little more grounded, but as usual, we are left with more questions than answers.
Season 2, Episode 7 – Walter finally confronts the mysterious P.I. who’s been following Cornelia and may be behind her attack. Meanwhile the rest of the team deals with shifting sexual alliances and the return of a certain popular proctologist.
Season 1, Episode 7 – The terrifying power Ford has over Westworld is on full display in this episode. With the board angling for his retirement from control of the park, it’s clear Ford has no intention of releasing his grip on power. Maeve comes up with a way to escape the shackles of the park, and Delores and William continue their search for the maze.
Season 1, Episode 6 – Divorce gives us a preview of what could be with Robert and Frances if they decide to forgive each other. They could be Frances’ (Sarah Jessica Parker) parents. There’s nothing wrong with that. Or so it seems.
Season 2, Episode 7 – Ash finds himself trapped in a psych ward, with Baal now his therapist, striving convince him that, in fact, his 30 years spent battling Deadites have all been a psychological coping mechanism for the cold-blooded murder of his four friends in that cabin in the woods, many moons ago.
Season 1, Episode 6 – This week’s episode of Insecure forces us to face the greatest dilemma known to man: is it better to be good or trifling? Issa debates letting Lawrence know about her “mistake” with Daniel, and after getting back together with Jared, Molly learns something she finds unforgivable about him.
Season 1, Episode 7 – Son of Zorn knocks it out of the park again when Zorn crashes Edie’s Thanksgiving dinner. The seventh episode is well constructed and hilarious, largely due to the show’s investment in character development.
Season 3, Episode 6 – While attempting to repair his relationship with Lewis, Phil discovers a painful backstory that leads the two to Seattle. Meanwhile, Carol does everything possible to make Gail an official part of her family in a beautiful and melancholy The Last Man on Earth.
Season 1, Episode 4 – Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency ups the thrills and horror in “Watkin.” With new turns and more answers that lead to even more questions, the show continues to keep a high level of intrigue.
Season 1, Episode 8 – MacGyver amps up the stakes and takes on an untraceable assassin in “Corkscrew.” With a plotline channeling the lone-wolf element from the original series, and some new developments in the season arc, MacGyver keeps proving this isn’t a show to immediately write off.
Season 2, Episode 4 – Crazy Ex-Girlfriend has always been many things but it may have just become the show about female friendship that it needs to be. Ushering Rebecca’s romantic fever dreams out the door, she now has to contend with reality and figure out who she actually is.
Season 1, Episode 7 – Casey is slipping away, but Marcus holds out faith God will intervene and save her on The Exorcist. The Rance family is still in the dark about what happened to Casey, and Father Bennett investigates the mysterious ties of Tattersall landscaping company to large donations to the Papal visit committee, the killings in Chicago, and Maria Walters.
Season 2, Episode 9-10 – In its two-episode fall finale, Superstore hilariously tackles the two things retail workers hate the most: incompetent seasonal employees and the worst night of the year, Black Friday.
Season 2, Episode 5 – This week on Legends of Tomorrow we’re forced to face a hot button issue – the United States Presidency. In this week’s episode, “Compromised”, the Legends respond to a time quake in Ronald Reagan’s White House, where they find that Damien Darhk has gotten ahold to nuclear weapons. Sounds like a great time for all….
Season 1, Episodes 5-7 – The Queen goes against tradition and appoints Philip as chairman of her coronation ceremony. Margaret and Peter’s relationship sparks a scandal.
Season 1, Episode 10 – How can Better Things out-do itself in the revolutionary department? Include a story-line about Frankie (Hannah Alligood) believing she’s a boy. Uh – yeah. That’s the finale.
Season 1, Episode 3 – Pure Genius tries to narrow its focus this week, but struggles to keep the tension taut as it takes on two patients – a diabetic in need of a life-saving surgery her overweight body cannot withstand, and a police officer who has lost his memory in a car accident.
Season 1, Episode 5 – There’s something strange and remarkable about Tess’s son on Falling Water that makes him extremely valuable, but what is it? What connection does Tess’s mother have to the cult, and is there also a cult connection with Taka’s mother? Can Burton save the woman from his dreams before it’s too late?
Season 1, Episode 7 – Pitch drops the ball on telling its first feminist story in weeks, but resolves the minimal conflict without controversy. In other news: baseball players get old and petty about the youngsters coming up behind them to replace them.
Season 3, Episode 6 – The results of Jack’s career aptitude test indicating that he’d make a good skilled laborer cause Dre and Bow to panic, while Ruby sets out to prove that Diane is possessed by the Devil.
Season 2, Episode 7 – Buddy’s double life gets closer to being exposed, as Sheriff Graham intensifies her investigation into Ray’s death, Russell pressures him to get involved with supporting the local gay community, and Dora begins snooping around.
Season 5, Episode 6 – On this week’s Arrow, Prometheus starts killing people who are on Oliver’s old list. When Team Arrow responds, Ollie has to squash some unease his team has with who he used to be.
