ABC FREEFORM
At its San Diego Comic Con panel Thursday, Shadowhunters executive producers Todd Slavkin and Darren Swimmer revealed the mysterious role Sarah Hyland will play on the show, and unveiled a first look scene of her in character. Additionally, the producers announced that Alisha Wainwright, who plays Malia on the show, has been promoted to series regular for the upcoming third season.
Freeform has handed their second straight-to-series order to a Marvel show, this time for the half-hour live-action comedy New Warriors, continuing the network’s trend of focusing on stories about “becomers.”
