Season 2, Episode 1 – Vice Principals is back! And though the premiere doesn’t pack much of a punch, the story is set for what’s to come. The world has changed quite a bit since the last time we’ve seen the miniseries, and it’s hard to tell if that might negatively impact the show, particularly the racist jokes – of which there are many.
“Revenge is in” declares the teaser trailer for the HBO comedy Vice Principals. If you thought season one was hilariously offensive and dark, clearly season two is going to top it.
Vice Principals ends its season with its strangest episode yet. At first glance, only a couple of things will pop out to you, mainly centered on those last couple scenes. But if you really take it all in, it kind of feels like a fever dream.
Vice Principals is a dark show. It deals with some of the worst aspects of humanity and often manages to bring them to light in some brilliantly funny ways. This is one of those episodes.
Vice Principals is coming off of its best week yet. For the first time the show was OK showing vulnerability in many different ways. Whether it be Neal Gamby dropping his guard around Amanda Snodgrass or Lee Russell getting caught in the act by Belinda Brown, the vulnerability was much needed. But this week’s episode might’ve just taken it a step too far.
Vice Principals delivers a wonderful episode that’s highlighted by the growth of Amanda Snodgrass’ character.

The series thus far has portrayed Dr. Belinda Brown as the villain, and Neal Gamby as the arrogantly incompetent vice principal. We’re supposed to root for Gamby even if he isn’t the most likable person. But Vice Principals decided to flip the script for today’s episode, and it looks like it’s for the best.
Neal Gamby goes on a field trip in order to impress a girl and does everything but. Although we’re just a few weeks into Vice Principals, this show doesn’t seem like it’ll never disappoint.
Neal and Lee attempt to stop bickering with another in order to team up and burn down the house of their shared enemy Dr. Belinda Brown on Vice Principals.
If you like Danny McBride, Vice Principals is not only one of the best pilots of the year, but it’s very reminiscent of his previous work. If you’re not a fan of Danny McBride, then this is so utterly not for you.
