Season 1, Episode 2 – “Chapter 2” of Legion continues all of the style, depth, and intrigue of the first episode but adds in more structured bits of plot and begins to anchor the series’ story arc. David has to deal with layers of trauma and mental illness while navigating his newfound superpowers and new situation in the mutant enclave.

Season 4, Episode 3 – “The Four Horseman” brings King Roan to Octavia’s doorstep with a mission, while Jaha, Bellamy and Clarke seek out a possible salvation. It’s more difficult moral choices on The 100 this week.
Season 2, Episode 4 – The Expanse delivers a heavy dose of exposition and big picture plot in “Godspeed,” spending the majority of the episode on logistics. All of that leads up to such a tightly written final act that it largely justifies all of the setup and leads well into the next episode.
Season 2, Episode 4 – The Beast is defeated, Fillory is in a shambles, and Alice is dead. Will anyone on The Magicians be able to save Fillory, or is it too late? Julia still needs to find a way to stop Raynard, and the only person she has left to help her is Kayde. Are they strong enough?
Season 1, Episode 15 – It’s a welcome return to form for Speechless, with fine chemistry and character development. Ray finds a home at a country club, while J.J. and Kenneth have a fight about the aide’s free time.
Season 1, Episode 5 – The latest Six episode is light on the action, high on pulling the heart strings, and brings several interesting twists, leaving the show at the top of its game.
Season 1, Episode 8 – Star delivers it’s best episode yet and it’s worst transition/musical number of yet as well. In a frustrating mix, Star managed to both realize its mistakes, call them out, and then commit all new sins. What you can expect from this episode is a very interesting mix of plot, theme, character development and appropriate tone.
Season 3, Episode 15 – Dre attends a funeral in Compton, reconnecting with his childhood crew, but experiencing guilt over the fact that he’s the only one who made it out of the neighborhood. There’s some interesting ideas, but the episode could be more focused.
Season 2, Episode 5 – The pacing picks up on an exciting episode of The Path. Hawk is sent to jail after Sarah angers Libby by moving forward with the water testing, while Cal’s paranoia over the news of an FBI informant causes him to make a crucial mistake.
Season 2, Episode 4 -Big Foster is here to stay on Shay Mountain, and being roundly challenged by Morgan and the Kinnah. Sally-Ann and Hasil are re-united, but it’s unclear if this will be very long. Winter is coming and the Farrells must stock up the smokehouse, so G’win asks Big Foster to lead a successful hunt.
Season 2, Episode 1 – Humans returns for its second season on AMC. I am a new fan of this robots-turn-conscious series, but it is reminiscent of that HBO show. What’s it called? Oh, yes. Westworld. Lucky for Humans, this show stands apart from that one. Here’s how.
Season 1, Episode 2 – Love is in the air in the Valentine’s Day episode of Imposters, with Maddie making the moves on her mark, Ezra and Richard deepening their buddy-comedy bond, and a whole lot of set-up to … something. The second episode of the new Bravo drama promises thrills but doesn’t yet deliver them.
Season 1, Episode 9 – The Mick Mickey is continuing to fight for her place as the head of the family, even as the kids continue to fight her for dominance and they continue to adapt to their circumstances.
Season 1, Episode 15 – Finally, things get a little more high stakes on This Is Us as the Pearson clan has to make a bunch of choices, some good, some bad, some pretty dumb.
Season 3, Episode 13 – “Neighbors with Attuide” find Louis and Jessica trying to head up the neighborhood watch after making a surprising find in their mailbox. Meanwhile, Eddie seeks Trent’s help in making Valentine’s Day perfect for Alison and securing his first kiss.
Season 1, Episode 14 – Bull takes on his toughest case yet, helping an army lieutenant accused of espionage for leaking documents detailing unnecessary civilian deaths. However, his eagerness to win at any costs may finally result in real consequences for the team.
Season 4, Episode 14 – “The Man Behind the Shield” features everything from heartfelt science philosophies to hilarious action-packed flashbacks, the episode serves up the best that Agents of SHIELD has to offer and leaves you begging for more.
Season 1, Episode 14 – Katie expects Greg to shower her with a big Valentine’s Day surprise in American Housewife. To her surprise, he doesn’t. She wonders whether their marriage has lost its fire. It hasn’t. Turns out Katie is just a little jerk.
Season 1, Episode 6 – As the Crown puts more pressure on the East India Company, they in turn put pressure on James in this week’s episode of Taboo. The first batch of gunpowder is ready for the Americans, but things begin to go sideways for James.
Season 5, Episode 8 – The Mindy Project returns for its midseason premiere with an amusing but frustrating episode, as Mindy once again tries to win Ben back while being trapped in a Groundhog Day-like loop.
Season 2, Episode 12 – In this week’s Supergirl, Kara fights to clear Lena’s name after the younger Luthor appears to help Lillian escape from jail. Meanwhile, Lillian and Metallo set out to finally complete their plan of alien destruction.
Season 1, Episode 3 – The clock ticks on in the third hour of 24: Legacy as Eric must find the USB of sleeper cells Ben has hidden before it falls into the wrong hands. Meanwhile, Rebecca confornts Nilaa abou the leak and hack, but does she have the right person?
Season 1, Episode 3 – Superior Donuts tries to teach a lesson this week, but ends up delivering its weakest episode so far. Arthur buys a gun to protect himself, prompting Franco to teach him that guns are bad. It’s an obvious message and the jokes aren’t any better.
Season 1, Episode 15 – Agent Neville demands Lucy and Rufus to do the unthinkable on Timeless under threat of imprisonment. Flynn jumps back to 1931 Chicago to team up with Al Capone in order to find out more information about Rittenhouse. Lucy and Rufus hijack the lifeboat, meet up with Flynn, and attempt to stop him.
Season 1, Episode 2 – The second episode of APB is a popcorny hour of TV that flies by, but when it’s all said and done there’s not much substance to cling on to.
Season 2, Episode 12 – The latest episode of Quantico proves the series is requiring increasing amounts of mental effort to follow, for very little pay-off.
Season 3, Episode 11 – Jane the Virgin is now Jane the widow on Monday night’s episode. We fast-forward 3 years, and she is slowly but surely moving on from her late husband, Michael. The real MVP during this mourning period is Mateo. Let me explain…
Season 1, Episode 8 – This week’s Beyond isn’t as strong a showing as last week’s, but we get some interesting plot developments and finally a look at what Holden was up to while in his twelve-year coma.
Season 1, Episode 10 – The world is in awe of Lenny in the aftermath of his published love letters on The Young Pope. His image has softened, and he gives a public address where people can actually see his face for the first time. Kurtwell awaits his trail in Vatican City, and Sister Mary takes over a new important role in the Church.
Season 1, Episode 12 – Son of Zorn returns from an extended break with a search for Craig and Alan coming to terms with his Zephyrian legs at school.
