Season 1, Episode 10 – Mary + Jane‘s season finale hasn’t improved anything on the comedic front and continues to make less sense since California’s legalization of marijuana last week.

Season 1, Episode 9 – Mary+Jane is coming to a close, which is a good thing as it becomes overly derivative, drawing from other humorous movies and shows and stacking up the guest stars.
Season 1, Episode 8 – Mary + Jane is off to WeedCon with more clichés, more hookups and more mixed messages about feminism than ever.
Season 1, Episode 7 – Apparently the true test of friendship is whether or not you can withstand missing out on Coachella.
Season 1, Episode 6 – Mary + Jane has been showcasing a giant wall of weed and now we finally get to see what the story of it is. As per usual, it’s nowhere near as much fun as it looks.
Season 1, Episode 5 – Once again, Mary + Jane falls flat with plenty of derivative humor and a lack of creativity on the part of the writers. This time, the ladies find themselves in an expensive rehab facility, complete with group therapy, expensive spa treatments, former clients and flings, and no clue as to how to pay the bill.
Season 1, Episode 4 – Mary + Jane is still lacking whatever element would make it humorous, although this week’s episode did have some potential that ultimately disappointed.
Season 1, Episode 3 – Mary + Jane still isn’t getting creative with the pot plotlines and talking vaginas doesn’t add much of interest either.
Season 1, Episode 2 – Now in its second episode, it has become pretty obvious that weed doesn’t have much of anything to do with Mary + Jane. The show’s more like Laverne and Shirley, if Laverne and Shirley happened to live in the same apartment and semi-ignored each other and had completely different names.
Season 1, Episode 1 – Immediately after the first few minutes of watching Mary + Jane in their Eastside Los Angeles-hipster apartment, inventing words like “ganjapreneurs,” I decided that the show was basically Portlandia, but set in L.A. The impression continued through the next 30 minutes of the show.
