Evenly split between half-hour comedies and hour-long dramas, this years Top 10 comes to us from all four corners of the United States, and is made up of twelve writers (two writing teams), with four scripts appearing from female writers, and six from male writers, and two Launch Pad alums returning to the spotlight from previous years.
With more than 2,500 entries, 2,800 writers, and stories originating from 19 different countries, this years top 25 pilots truly represents the top 1% of our 2018 Launch Pad Pilot Competition.

Just after being named to the Top 50 of the 2018 Launch Pad Pilots Competition with her script AETERNUM, Heidi Nyburg has become the latest Launch Pad writer to find representation, signing with Sonia Gambaro of Pollinate Entertainment.

Written by Ryan Riley, who previously saw his short story “Encyclopedia Dad” sell to WBTV and his feature spec “Take Back The Night” land with New Regency following a bidding war, the project is being pitched as a socio-political thriller that focuses on the world of tomorrow.
Meyers, who crafted a delicately woven dramatic thriller into the lives of the famed architect Wright, and his wife Mamah, is no stranger to the intricacies of humanity within a dramatic story, as she’d previously written the short film THE DARK OF NIGHT, which was directed by Robin Wright and premiered in the 70th annual Cannes Film Festival with stars Sam Rockwell and Leslie Bibb.

Martin, who penned one of the most exciting, action-packed, neo-western thrillers we’ve ever read with his Launch Pad finalist PRESIDIO, has made it official and inked with Adam Levine, Evan Pioch and Nicky Mohebbi of Verve.
