Season 2, Episode 5 – Sam teases and torments “Van Helsing” while the Johnsons fall under attack. Dmitri receives painful news of his beloved, and Lucky takes Phil to the next level.

Season 2, Episode 4 – “Van Helsing” hatchet’s through a violent rampage and faces off against a flesh wearing tribe of vampires while Sam torments Mohamad 2.0 at the detention center.

Season 2, Episode 3 – “Van Helsing” does unforgivable things to help Dylan, but she needs fresh warm blood immediately, meanwhile Phil’s secret puts his life in peril.

Eva Longoria and Ken Marino are set to lead an all-star cast in Type-A, and John Larroquette may be returning to television as he boards Me, Myself & I.

Season 1, Episode 13 – Dmitri gives Van Helsing a lesson in family history before trying to harvest her eggs and inseminate her. Mohamad reunites with Sheema but she’s changed a lot since he saw her last. Taka’s rebels launch a coordinated attack against the citadel while Van finds Dylan and an old friend surfaces just when we need him.

Season 1, Episode 12 – Van Helsing and Mohamad stay a few steps ahead of vampire Sam and commit to infiltrate the work camp where Mohamad claims his sister is being held. Dmitri gives Julius a second chance and explains more of his overall mission while Flesh runs into Brendan and joins Taka’s resistance cell on the eve of a big attack.

Season 1, Episode 11 – Van Helsing follows Susan to the house of pain she grew up in but her parents are long gone. Sam and Mohamad argue over an explosive secret. Julius uses Magdalene to find Van and we finally hear about Dmitri’s grand plan. Finally, the team loses another member as Van leads the survivors into the final two episodes.

Season 1, Episode 10 – Axel leads Van Helsing gets a little help from a sword wielding PE instructor who leads them to Eden, a community run by a former psychotherapist who has an accord with the local vamp that keeps the peace.

Season 1, Episode 9 – Van Helsing escapes the bunker, and the show’s sense of humor, while losing two important team members, Mohamad meets a lovely new friend, and Sheema continues to betray the resistance. Axel and Doc both reveal secrets and others find comfort in their thunder buddies. In the end, everyone heads to the sound of the church bells.

Season 1, Episode 8 – Axel leads Van Helsing to his old Marine Corps base where they find a lost resistance fighter; he carries some handy explosives and more importantly, the show’s sense of humor. Mohamad works his way back to the main groups but gets distracted by the sounds of church bells while his sister Sheema gets up-close and personal with Rebecca’s plans for her.

Season 1, Episode 7 – Doc does everything she can to save Van Helsing while John and Nicole push to leave the crumbling hospital. Mohamad watches part of Brendan’s team get attacked by vampires on their way to town. Julius mounts an attack against team Axel, but retreats when Dmitri’s death squads arrive. Axel faces the real possibility of having to take Van out himself.

Season 1, Episode 6 – Van Helsing and Susan escape the sewers but her newest wounds refuse to heal. Susan gets her to the hospital in time to assist in Axel’s escape and bloodbath against Brendan’s redshirts. Brendan and a few survivors are banished from the hospital. Sheema leads her resistance cell into a vampire ambush led by Rebecca and Mohamad finds a weapon to help him survive while on his own.

Season 1, Episode 5 – Van Helsing battles an old friend when Julius tests her authenticity. We meet Dmitri’s creepy sister and get a glimpse into their inappropriate relationship while Rebecca captures Sheema stealing plans to the factory. Axel fights off a mutiny at the hospital when the killer strikes again in another dark, dramatic episode.

Action-horror series Van Helsing has won itself a second season order from Syfy just four episodes into its freshman year. The new season is expected to begin production in early 2017.

Season 1, Episode 4 – Van Helsing sneaks out to track down her daughter and Mohamad goes with her to look for his sister, Sheema. Sheema is the recon expert with a human resistance group composed of slave labor and live-stock used by the vamps for blood and to create air pollution in the sky where their protective ash dissipates. Axel deals with a murder at the hospital.

Season 1, Episode 3 – Van Helsing discovers new dangers in the vampire infested world when the hospital’s protective UV lights fail. John is briefly reunited with his wife, when the feeders use her as bait to draw out the survivors, and the legend of the woman who gave Flesh his life and feelings back spreads to Dmitri.

Season 1, Episodes 1-2 – Van Helsing wakes up after a three year coma to face a world darkened by a string of super-volcano eruptions and the vampire uprising that followed.

Eric Heisserer and Jon Spaihts have been tapped to co-write Universal’s Van Helsing reboot, which will serve as an entry in the studio’s revamped monster universe. Alex Kurtzman and Chris Morgan are producing the pic.
