Season 8, Episode 10 – A storm of death touches every camp when The Walking Dead spreads loss across several characters while Simon fires up an unauthorized power trip.
Season 8, Episode 9 – The Walking Dead returns with old man Rick and his narrative trick while Carl gets a heroic sendoff.
The actress has been battling AMC on a contract to return to The Walking Dead for Season 9, but as time runs out (filming begins in May) and no deal in sight, at last publicly, Cohan began entertaining outside offers and said yes to the Scott Foley-led action dramedy.
The show will return for the 2nd half of Season 8 next month, but long-time writer Kang will take over for Season 9 when it debuts in the fall.

Season 8, Episode 1 – “The Walking Dead” returns with an action packed 100th episode when the Hilltop, Kingdom, and Alexandrian alliance attacks Negan at his Savior stronghold.

Ahead of its annual San Diego Comic Con panel, AMC has unveiled the Season 8 premiere date for The Walking Dead. Rick and the gang will return to try to survive another year on Sunday, October 22.
The Tracking Board has resumed production on Season 8 several days after the death of stuntman John Berbecker. Production had been shut down last week following the accident which ultimately cost the veteran stuntman his life.

The 26th annual MTV Movie Awards was not its usual event this weekend as it was the first time it combined movie and television categories and removed gendered categories. Beauty and the Beast was the big winner of the night, taking home multiple statues and being the inspiration for the event’s opening number.
MTV is giving their annual entertainment award show two big changes this year. Plus, Jordan Peele’s hit horror film Get Out leads the nominations with six nods.
Season 7, Episode 16 – One of The Walking Dead sparks all-out war between the Alexandrian coalition and the Saviors. Rick is surprised by a heart-breaking betrayal and then inspired by an unexpected show of support. Negan has an army ready for battle and vows to kill Carl while Michonne fights through a deadly encounter all by herself.
Season 7, Episode 15 – The Walking Dead emerges from the sea as Rick leads a siege team to Oceanside to ally with Natania or collect all her weapons for his next attack. Sasha is alive but Negan has her locked up in a cell. Rosita returns to Alexandria with a traitor-savior and his crossbow.
Season 7, Episode 14 – The Walking Dead relies on Rosita and Sasha to drive the action while Maggie continues her path to leadership. Meanwhile, Daryl avoids talking with Maggie until Saviors spring a surprise visit while Hilltop loses one of its most valuable residents and Eugene is forced to make a life-changing decision.
The Walking Dead doesn’t need any monsters. It is a monster. Paley Fest’s feature of this iconic show proves that each actor is beloved by fans, and even the executive producers get a little bit of action, too.
Season 7, Episode 13 – The Walking Dead ends Morgan’s era of non-violence when one of Richard’s schemes turns a routine offering into a bloody engagement and costs the Kingdom one of their favorites. Carol discovers the truth about her friends at Alexandria and moves into the Kingdom to help Ezekiel prepare his people to fight the Saviors.
Season 7, Episode 12 – Rick and Michonne find The Walking Dead at a carnival that offers fun and much needed supplies, but things don’t go as planned when Rick tries to corral the walkers into safe little groups. Rosita continues her renegade plan to assassinate Negan and turns to a skillful ally. Tara struggles with the promise she made with Oceanside as the need for weapons intensifies.
