Season 1, Episode 2 – The second episode, while containing a handful of better gags than the pilot, is still abysmal and should be avoided at all costs.
Season 1, Episode 2 – The Gifted uses its second episode to better establish character while also strengthening its narrative through creative uses of superpowers and a more goal-oriented plot.

Season 1, Episode 1 – In an uneven debut, we meet Warrant Officer Nora Madani and her co-pilot, Captain Leland Gallo, in the wake of their cover-up of a mission gone wrong. Too wrapped up in lackluster character drama, one can only hope we get some plot clarity in future episodes.
Season 1, Episode 2 – The second episode of Ghosted is an improvement over its first, but the paranormal comedy still has some work to do.
Season 4, Episode 2 – A new character breathes some life into the series, but the episode lags, drags, and lacks in major laughs as the gang grapples with another potential catastrophe.
Season 3, Episode 5 – Roger drops in unannounced on Claire and Brianna to tell them he’s found evidence of Jamie on Outlander.
Season 1, Episode 5 – The plot still moves in the tiniest of increments, but performances (especially of Gyllenhaal and Method Man) make this episode shine.
Season 9, Episode 2 – This week’s Curb finds Larry paranoid and desperate to shale the fatwa while contending with a hotel lobby manager over the use of tongs. All of this comes to a head in another hilarious episode.
Season 5, Episode 7 – The series finale ended on a high note with a final half hour that brought laughs, surprises, and wasn’t too heavy.
Season 3, Episode 14 – The second to last episode before the 2 hour season finale, “El Matadero” brings the death of an original cast member–and the death of another’s sobriety.
Season 1, Episode 2 – As new evidence emerges in Mia’s case, Tanner gets involved in the search for a missing child prodigy.
Season 2, Episode 4 – The origin of Lee Russell meets the emergence of Neal Gamby.
Season 1, Episode 4 – Star Trek: Discovery continues to excel, combining all the idealism of Star Trek’s core mission with contemporary serialized storytelling.
