Thirteen new episodes will premiere on Syfy in 2019.
THE MAGICIANS
Season 3, Episodes 1-4 – With magic turned off in both Fillory and Earth, The Magicians must work together to find a way to turn it back on before everything falls apart.
Season 2, Episode 13 – The season finale of The Magicians mostly sets up the next season, without tying up some of the loose threads left over from this season. Quentin and Alice reconnect, but it’s almost instantly interrupted by both of their past actions catching up with them. Ember and Umber are gods, but they have parents, older gods who don’t have any regard for humanity, and they are pissed off.
Season 2, Episode 12 – Quentin attempts the impossible on The Magicians when he tries to reunite Niffin Alice and her shade to make her human again. After Penny retrieves the book from the Poison Room, Julia and Kady have the ability to kill Raynard, but things don’t go as planned. Eliot and Quentin track down the original gateway to Fillory but find something unexpected.
Season 2, Episode 11 – Something strange is happening in Fillory. Fen is missing, a number of people have been turned into rats, and it may all be Margo’s fault. Quentin and Julia head down to the underworld to rescue Julia’s Shade, but find something else that catches their eye on The Magicians.
Season 2, Episode 10 – The Magicians returns with a fun time line shifting, drug induced shade visiting, overdue book tracking down, fairies waiting to steal babies tale. This show has the ability to be incredibly enjoyable to watch, and this episode hits all the right notes.
Season 2, Episode 9 – The Magicians takes the show into uncharted territory this week as it features a fun musical section leading into a battle. Quentin is dying because Alice’s Niffin is trapped inside of him. Can he get it out before it’s too late? Penny and Kady find Raynard’s son, but will he help them before Raynard can get to him?
Season 2, Episode 8 – Fillory and Loria are at war on The Magicians, but Eliot is out of the picture since his consciousness is trapped inside of his dead golem, which leaves Margo in control. Julia and Kady search for Dana’s demigod child so they can kill Raynard once and for all, but Dana has covered her tracks well. Alice attempts to use her time in control of Quentin’s body to find a way out. Can she save herself?
Season 2, Episode 7 – There is one thing both Julia and the kingdom of Fillory need to deal with their problems on The Magicians, and that’s gold. The only way they can get enough of it is to rob a bank, and magicians guard the vaults of banks. Will they be able to pull of the heist and save themselves?
Season 2, Episode 6 – Quentin attempts to manifest Alice from the dead with the help of her parents on The Magicians, which is not much help at all. Eliot and Margo find themselves in a predicament after a Lorian prince proposes marriage to her and she treats him poorly.
Season 2, Episode 5 – Quentin has turned his back on the magical life in The Magicians, but magic doesn’t seem to be done with him. Penny’s hands have been fixed, but are unable to do magic anymore, so Fogg sends him to see an old teacher. There’s dissent in Fillory, will Eliot be able to put it down?
Season 2, Episode 4 – The Beast is defeated, Fillory is in a shambles, and Alice is dead. Will anyone on The Magicians be able to save Fillory, or is it too late? Julia still needs to find a way to stop Raynard, and the only person she has left to help her is Kayde. Are they strong enough?
Season 2, Episode 3 – Martin’s curse on the thrones of Fillory kicks in and soon Alice, Eliot, Margo, and Quentin are at each other’s throats on The Magicians. Penny is the only person who can stop them from killing each other, but his hands start acting up. Julia and Martin confront Raynard, but Penny interrupts and soon Martin is fighting for his life in Fillory.
Season 2, Episode 2 – Quentin, Alice, Penny, and Margo all head back to Brakebills on The Magicians to find a lost book of battle magic so they can defeat Martin Chatwin. The problem is clues have been hidden in the library, and they must search for the answers.
Season 2, Episode 1 – Julia has betrayed her friends and teamed up with Martin Chatwin on The Magicians. Quentin and the others must find a special location in Fillory to crown themselves kings, while Penny finds a healing river to reattach his hands. This isn’t the Fillory in the books Quentin grew up loving. It’s a dangerous place, and entering it has consequences.

The project will be produced by Universal Cable Productions. Described as an adult “Harry Potter”, the story follows a grad student that finds a secret upstate New York school for magic called Brakebills College for Magical Pedagogy.
