Season 1, Episode 1 – Caleb Carr’s bestseller comes alive on TNT’s debut of The Alienist. It’s 1896 in New York. When a young boy prostitute is found dead on Williamsburg Bridge, an alienist and his team hunt down a serial killer.

Season 1, Episode 12 – The first part of the two-part finale underwhelms, as it uncharacteristically steps away from the action.

Season 1, Episode 12 – Nora, Gallo, and everyone else finally go to get Jimmy from Khalid. Thea and Ian end up chasing a former ally in an effort to stop the dirty bomb after we find out its true target.

Season 1, Episode 14 – A slightly better than average episode (which isn’t saying much) has Harry taking on acting and Judy fearing the end is near.

Season 4, Episode 1-13 – The latest season of Grace and Frankie is fun and entertaining with one really weird, sticky plot point to finish out the season.

Season 1, Episode 12 – Star Trek: Discovery is brimming with character development, plot twists, and intrigue in a jam-packed episode that addresses its thornier problems.

Season 1, Episode 1 – Devon is The Resident and is placed into a hospital that hides a battle of wills between a celebrity Chief of Surgery and the staff who know his dirty secrets.

Season 5, Episode 8 – “The Last Day” mixes two timelines with plenty of action, empathy, and plot solving in an excellent example of Agents of SHIELD at its best.

Season 2, Episode 14 – Jack revisits an old persona when a mystery woman steals old CIA aliases.

Season 1, Episode 11 – Though not a stand-out episode, this week’s S.W.A.T. will keep viewers invested in the characters and appreciative of the action sequences

Season 3, Episode 10 – The store faces the potential of upgrading to a “Quad A” high volume store, but not if Amy has anything to do with it.

Season 9, Episode 10 – Will’s ex is getting married, Jack has a new lover, and Karen is a part of a crazy scavenger hunt.

Season 6, Episode 10 – On this week’s Arrow, Oliver discovers Cayden James’s many allies, while struggling to protect a port without Dinah, Wild Dog, and Curtis.

Season 2, Episode 12 – Carol tries her hand at TV journalism while Chuck copes with suspension and Katie tries to get Greg to make a decision.

Season 2, Episode 10 – Packed to the brim with humor and suspense, this critical turn in the series has a surprisingly heartwrenching conclusion that leaves us again with a host of possibilities.

Season 2, Episode 13 – A more somber episode than normal delves into deeper themes on JJ’s independence, and the result may not be as laugh-out-loud funny, but it’s a necessary deviation.

Season 11, Episode 3 – “Plus One” is an adequate case-of-the-week that plays to classic X-Files structure and old relationship dynamics.

Season 5, Episode 13 – Beverly and Geoff worry about college changing Erica while Adam tries to convince Murray that he’s funny.

Season 1, Episode 10 – Fallon plans her birthday party while Cristal has to figure out how to save Carrington Atlantic and herself from black mail and a bad business deal. Jeff Colby is literally the worst person on television, and more.

Season 1, Episode 6 – Hailey hatches an escape plan when Smoothie tells her Sax is dead while Mikey returns from death and Happy! finds a support group for fading Imaginary Friends.

Season 2, Episode 10 – Betty locates her long-lost brother while Southsiders join Riverdale High and Archie investigates the Lodges.

Season 2, Episode 1 – The premiere episode lays solid groundwork but feels like the story has yet to really take off.
